Baramchi Hydroelectric Plant is a run of rive type plant in Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal. It is one of the high head projects with 0.88 m3/s designed discharge, 615 m gross head and 4.2 MW installed capacity. It generates 22 GWh energy annually. The plant area lies at 89 km distance from Kathmandu. The power generated from the plant is evacuated through an 18 km long 33 kV transmission line to NEA’s substation at Lamosanghu, Sindhupalchowk. The plant is owned by Unique Hydel Ltd.
